Welcome to Volume 134, and to the new bi-weekly Broadway Bullet. That's right, we're now going to be coming to you every other week, as opposed to once a week. Don't worry, we'll still have Marty, Up Close, On The Boards, and all the other great things you love about the podcast, just more of it. And for our first every bi-weekly episode we bring you Broadway Bullet in two acts.
ACT ONE: Tony-Award winning producer, Stewart F. Lane. One of the original cast members, Rodney Hicks, and a new cast member, Nicolette Hart, from Rent drop by to talk about the show. We also catch up with theatre/music group hybrid, GrooveLily. And of course, we have Marty Cooper always On the Positive Side.
ACT TWO: We get a chance to talk to the touring company of Sweeney Todd. Michael goes On the Scene at TKTS to see what shows are the hot ticket. We also talk with the artistic director and producing director of Coyote Rep about their free, online sound plays.
Let's get the show going, we have a lot to cover, and only two acts to do it.
